Bergamo new fairground
The new trade fair area is very well placed: it is served
directly by the international airport of Orio al Serio, Milan
at only 50 kilometres' distance, Malpensa airport lies at
75 kilometres' distance.
The pavilions, named after two well-known characters from
Bergamo, Maestro Gaetano Donizetti and the architect Giacomo
Quarenghi, are supplied with all the most modern technological
services on each exhibition stand.
The complex is surrounded by a wide green area and its strategic
position affords a charming view of the historical upper part
of the city of Bergamo.
 How
to reach Bergamo fair
The new permanent Trade Fair Centre of Bergamo is, due to
its position, very good connected by road.
It is located at the centre of a vast interconnection system:
- 2 kilometres from the exit of the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway;
- connection with a system of ring-roads situated around the
urban centre;
3 kilometres from the airport Orio al Serio (3rd most
important airport in the region after Malpensa and Linate).
The Trade Fair Centre lies in the heart of Lombardy and is
easily reached, as can be seen from the distances separating
it from the major cities of north Italy:
- 50 kilometres from Milan;
- 46 kilometres from Brescia;
- 55 kilometres from Como;
- 180 kilometres from Turin;
- 220 kilometres from Bologna and Venice.
The Centre is connected with the town centre of Bergamo,
to the railway station, to the bus station, to the historic
upper part of the city, to the airports of Orio al Serio,
Milan, Brescia, Venice, Trieste, Como and Piacenza, thanks
to the network of buses of the Transport Company of Bergamo
and through other transport companies.
